 PRESENTS…

MAKING TAX INCENTIVES WORK

Detroit– The Detroit Empowerment Zone Development Corporation will host “Making Tax Incentives Work”.

Jeff Newcorn, President of R. Jeffrey & Associates will present the workshop “Making Tax Incentives Work” on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Bridgewater Interiors4617 W. Fort St., Detroit, MI  48209.  Bridgewater Interiors is a prime example of how a successful partnership can be created with the Detroit Empowerment Zone and how special tax and other incentives can be maximized for companies in or near the Detroit Empowerment Zone.

Every year millions of dollars of tax credits, tax deductions, and low cost loans go unused due to a general unfamiliarity with these incentives.  Federal and State Agencies are starting to partner with private sector experts as a way of effectively marketing these incentives to a much broader market.  This workshop is designed to describe the various incentives available and to provide a roadmap to making them a reality for any for-profit business entity.  RJA's main goal is to educate, promote and assist businesses in all phases of incentive recovery.

This breakfast seminar is free and sponsored by The Detroit Empowerment Zone Development Corporation.  For registration and information regarding this and other seminars and workshops offered in the The Detroit Empowerment Zone please call Van Adams, Program Manager, at 313/872-8050.
